get home early from work

today was superawesome.

i went to see cheap trick with my online friend hunter and i had a great time.

i felt kind of awkward at first, like it always is when i meet online friends, but it turned out a lot less awkward for me. i didn’t feel as shy as i usually do when i meet friends for the first time.

anyway, the show was good, however i think the best part was of these drunk guys that moved in front of us. green means go, snotrocket, and cheap trick were the bands.

(snotrocket was amusing because, well, they just were. one of the guys in the band was an overweight conservative looking middle-aged man. the epitome of rock and roll of course. and they sang songs like, “my baby’s all liquored up”).

anyway, one drunk guy was named dave crawford. he was quite drunk and doing this funny “doo-wop” type dance moving his arms side to side. and he kept doing the “shhh” motion, putting his finger to his lips. and he also kept trying to the row behind us to dance with these really wild dancing ladies. (one of the ladies kept lifting up her shirt and standing on her chair). classic.

anyway, his friend was called “sugar bear” apparently. and when the crowd would cheer, he’d stand up and pretend the crowd was cheering for him. he had quite a lovely conversation with hunter about random things as well. we kept cheering for mr. crawford and sugar bear when they danced.

mr crawford asked me if hunter was my “fella” and then a few minutes later asked if he was my boyfriend. when i said no, he told me, “you’re very attractive.” hahaha, oh man it was so funny.

another guy told us that they have a band. and mr crawford dresses in drag and they play punk music. man, it’s times like these that i actually love drunk people.

in the parking lot afterwards we found mr crawford and i got a picture of him and hunter next to some motorcycle. right when i took the picture some biker lady started yelling at him. it was classic.

we went to denny’s when we finally got to their town (i took two other people hunter knows home). it was a good time. i hope i wasn’t a drag or anything.

i took two spoons from denny’s because i can always use them, i’m a broke college student.

when i was driving home i pulled over in a gas station parking lot to look at my directions and some guy about my age tried to hit on me. hahaha, jesus, it was really freaky though. he just came up to my window and was like, “hey what’s up (in an attempt to sound smooth way)” and asked if i needed a ride to a party, or something. i just said i’m going home and started to leave. haha.

i like having fun stories to tell.

i’m sorry about my penis

i’m a very boring college student.

it’s alright. tonight i bought some cheap movies at wal mart, and my friend crystal and i ordered pizza and sat around. i invited a boy over to “chill” with us. it was pretty boring, actually. a pretty boring SIX HOURS.

however, we did watch goonies and mallrats. and bad television such as COPS, the real world, and i bet you will. silly mtv shows.

cops was awesome tonight because there was a guy RAPPING. and crystal said the best quote ever, “there’s prostitutes, that’s so cool!”

man, i have the hiccups really bad.

i just want some guy friends, and i’m really bad at making friends. what’s funny about this guy though, is that he found my website a few days before we actually talked in person and happens to go to school here. and it’s just weird for some reason. anyway, he’s pretty cool i suppose. i’m really boring though.

did i ever tell about how i got a power rangers shirt the other day? WELL I DID. AND EVERYONE IS JEALOUS.

i am socially retarded.

there’s nothing wrong with that. i just get bored a lot.

so i’m sitting in my room by myself listening to the who. it’s alright i suppose. i dont really like hanging out with drunk people.

today we dyed some red chunks into my hair. the color turned out great but it is not as visible on one side as it is on the other. so tomorrow i think i’ll get another box of dye and do it some more. watch my hair start to fall out. it’ll be jolly.

we went to see some local bands play, it was cool. we didn’t stay the whole time because my friend’s head started hurting. i didn’t really mind leaving, even though it was cool.

maaaaan i am lame times ten thousand.

a makeover story

tonight i’m going to kansas city to see les miserables, and i’ll also go to my room mate’s house. this should be fun.

here is something odd: some guy that goes to school here found my website, AND he is even in one of my classes. i dont know who he is though. isn’t that a crazy coincidence? i think so.

i dont know how many times i have had pizza since i got here (amazing how it hasnt even been a month yet). but last night we ordered more pizza. i guess pizza is like fuel for college students. pizza and cheese in a can.

there’s this guy that we kind of hang out with a lot, but when he’s not around we make fun of his chest hair. but it’s all in good fun. but man, you should see his nipple hair.

i think being here has made me even less mature than i was before. that’s probably not a good thing. but at least it’s happy times.

last night i was writing a paper and wearing some headphones with music playing very loudly (the anniversary, who are coming back to missouri in october!!!) and i was jamming to myself. i probably looked pretty dumb. anyway, someone was standing in my doorway trying to get my attention. i dont think they could tell i had the headphones on. it was amusing at the time, to me at least.

i’m really sad about the qotsa and trail of dead show, still.

today i had my mother cut my hair more and it’s very short. and it will take some getting used to, but man, i really like it. i dont think i’ll ever grow it out superlong ever again.

i’m so cute. all the boys want me, i can feel it.

haha, NOT.

the other day at lunch, i was sitting with these girls that i usually sit with, and we all enjoy looking at this boy with blue hair. and apparently, he noticed that we look in his direction a lot. so he came over to our table and gave us some fliers to a show his band is playing and asked us all for our names. we cant go to the show though because we’re not old enough, ha, how great is that. (of course, in college, we act like first graders). anyway, it made our day that the blue haired boy talked to us and then later waved at us.

that’s really silly and i feel pretty dumb for typing that up, but yeah.

college is pretty great, though i dont really go out very much. i’m developing some friendships, but i dont know. sometimes i want a break from always being around people. i’m not used to it. friendship is like a totally new concept to me, i dont know. i’m scared to get close to people is all. i convince myself a lot that they dont really like me, but i think it’s a silly thing to do.

maybe.

i really wish i had friends here at “home” to come visit me at college for the weekend to meet all my new people and see my awesome room and just spend the night. i like showing people things of mine, and the school is my new place. i wish i had someone to just show the campus to, you know.

i have “walk like an egyptian” stuck in my head.

granny panties

TODAY A BOY SAID I HAVE CUTE HAIR.

oh, and my friend and i went to take showers at the same time, and there was leopard print underwear draped between the two stalls! it was quite amusing.

so someday we’re going to get some huge granny underwear and do that. how funny would that be.

i get to drive three hours home tomorrow!

the end.

today has been quite productive.

this boy that my room mate knows stayed the night last night, on the floor, under a soft purple blanket. the floor is very hard. and today her boyfriend came up and i hung out with them all day because they are very very fun.

we took more ransom pictures. today i will provide links for your viewing pleasure.

ransom day 1

ransom day 2

i will take pictures of our extremely awesome room later.

today we also made a trip to wal mart where we bought a marilyn monroe calendar and a mary-kate and ashley calendar so we can tear them apart and hang the pictures on the ceiling. so far the project is going very well. we have elvis up there too. like a checker board these pictures are, on our ceiling.

we rule.

also we got water balloons and us four had a mini water balloon fight.

we went out to eat at this mexican restaurant (it was really horrible) and the guy that got here last night (alex) was being a big idiot (in a fantastic way) and it was incredible. mostly because it was very very very busy in there tonight and we were seated in a room of sorority girls. (we were a little out of place). it’s funny when people pretend to be orgasming because the food is so great.

and we kind of had a parade in the residence hall, but not really.

it’s just been fun doing absolutely nothing but acting like idiots.

today we also bought a video of two episodes of the classic disney show, adventures in wonderland. anyone remember that? it was awesome. tweedle dee and tweedle dum were two black guys who rapped (my favorite characters).

today i bought little plastic dinosaurs at the dollar store for a dollar and i taped them to the wall. they are climbing up my wall.

i almost bought an nsync doll for five dollars. or an nsync bobble head thing. i’ll go back sometime and buy one because i’m sure it’s worth it.

man, i’m extremely bored.

i could have gone out tonight but i was kind of afraid of being a drag, because i am a drag at parties and what not. my room mate has friends over tonight and they will be sleeping here. i dont mind, she asked me first.

so tonight i’m bored out of my mind. that’s okay though.

today my room mate and i kidnapped this girl’s stuffed animal bear, because she is gone for the weekend. (her room mate helped)

and we wrote a ransom note and took pictures of the bear in random situations with my digital camera. so i printed them out and we glued them to the note and hung it on her door. it’s supergreat.

i’d post some pictures here but i dont feel like it.

it’d be cool if i had people to miss me and come here and visit me, to introduce to everyone i’ve met.

like, whoa

today we bought a front door mat for our doorway. it is one of those great fake grass ones with a daisy in the corner.

our windows are decorated with window chalk. (my room mate and this other girl did it). i told them to draw on curtains and they did, and it’s so funny.

we also have three rugs besides the door mat. one of white with colored stars all over it, the other is orange and the other is greenish (teal maybe?).

and yesterday i bought some dye to put bright red chunks in my hair. this is superfun.

in between all this stuff, i got another ear infection! and i have to go to classes and do homework.

OH MAN, MOST IMPORTANTLY WE BOUGHT SOME FISH FOR OUR ROOM. THEY ARE NAMED BLANCHE AND HENRY. today we were going to fix up the tank and we tried to catch them in the net and blanche’s fin got stuck and we just kept screaming because we didn’t want to kill her. it was sad, but this other girl heard us and came to the rescue.

it’s so nice when people randomly invite me to hang out with them. it makes me feel nice. this is so much better than high school.
