here’s the deal:

-I’ve been sick for two weeks and I doubt that going out and drinking does anything positive. Although we do joke that the alcohol will kill the virus right out of me. Tonight I stayed in for the reason that I am almost not sick anymore and also because of the following item on this list.

-I have less than $15 in my checking account. Today my parents asked if I needed money. I said no.

-So my whole earn-an-extra-45-bucks-a-week-donating-plasma-plan went down because after my second time donating, I called to make a third appointment and the center was closed down because: “corporate decided to cut costs and also shut down four other centers around the country.” Maybe it is selfish to want my veins probed with needles twice a week, but this would have seriously helped my money situation.

I’m actually pretty glad I spent the night alone. I thought a lot about poetry and also about Marxism. I ate rice and tuna fish and remembered the time I could hear my voice echoing under my oversized rainbow striped umbrella.

Today on my way to and from campus I fell three times. It was amazing! I guess towns do not really care about pedestrians when it comes to ice ice weather.

Today I donated plasma for the first time ever and received $20 for it. It was interesting, because the first needle poke was unsuccessful, which has never ever happened any time I have donated blood because I have huge monstrous veins.

My arm started puffing up and my options became to either leave without pay or poke the other arm. So, I chose to needle the other arm, and it was successful. The successful arm is completely painless while the somehow-missed-vein-arm is very painfilled but otherwise okay. If I go again in the next seven days I’ll receive $35–I get ten extra dollars for the first two times I donate as a new doner–and there’s even a referral program. It seems weird but a very easy way for me to earn extra bucks since I am not very squeemish when it comes to needles in my veins.

Also, I am not entirely sure it was safe for me to go to the pub and drink tonight after donating but I did anyway? It wasn’t very much and it was about six hours later– but who can resist Boulevard…? with lemon??

My boyfriend comes back into town tomorrow and that is exciting news. Lately I have been hanging out with a friend that I really haven’t spent much time with..ever..and last night we did some prank-callin’ fantastica. i really think that prank calls are at least in my top ten all time favorite things to do ever list. especially if i have my voicechanger available.

For Christmas I received a big box of groceries from my grandparents and it included cans of Beanee Weenies. Did you know, that based on a 2,000 calorie diet, that these tiny little cans have 20% iron?

I think I’m going to start donating plasma every week for some extra cash. Plus, it’s just a good thing to do. I like donating blood but rarely get to go to the drives–and you have to wait about two months between donations. You can donate plasma every 50 (or so) hours.

I went into work today for one hour. As soon as I got there the front doors were locked and we began closing down the store because the town was nearly dead due to the amazing ice storm. I got a ride home after work, a whole block away.

Anyway, I found out that a girl from work was fired because over the course of about two years she had been stealing money from the store by voiding out orders on the register and taking the cash. She was caught, questioned, and finally confessed. I guess the stolen cash adds up to about $10,000. You’d never suspect this girl either.

I think everything happens when I take more than two days off work.

yes it is hilarious to play phil collins in the PUB. sussudio?

i get so used to having boyfriend company after the bar that it is weird being here alone. i did have some company after the bar though; a pal and i came here and played with my magnetic “erotic edition” poetry and looked in the phone book for famous names.

here is the erotic poem we constructed:

i will ram your butt raw
with my fat cock
and fondle her labia like a
mad animal when she
probes my tremendous sweaty
ass frantic[ly] until i
gush vagina pudding
like nasty lava glistening
in a luscious ass crack
this is where college takes me

today I went to my sister’s house and they had some friends over. This guy looked down at my shoes (I have green converse that I’ve worn for about three years straight) and he said, “play hackysack?”

I answer, “no.”

He remarks, “Why you wearin’ your shoes?” It was as if he had “”caught”" me in a lie and thought he was clever.

In other news, I’ve been trying to spend time with my parents all day, since i’m leaving tomorrow, but all they are doing is watching football. ALL DAY. i put myself through the torture of watching princess diaries 2 with them, just for the sake of it a couple days ago. What else do they want from me? Today has been torture-ously slow.

Maurine gave me cigars and they are excellent.

I literally do not have enough in my bank account to pay my rent this month (four dollars short), and I refuse to ask my parents for help (although my mom lent me 14 dollars the other day and i have no intentions of paying her back). I do have some checks waiting to be deposited, but man. I also have a savings account, but I’d rather leave it untouched. Things will be fine.

For New Years I became an old lady. I visited my boyfriend at his parent’s house where we all watched Shrek2 together, and then just the two of us watched Shaun of the Dead (great romance movie). It was a perfect night with no fuss. Jan 1 was his 23rd birthday, and we sat around watching the addicting Monk marathon and went out to eat big fat burgers with more of his family. We did a crossword puzzle and ate homemade cinnamon rolls and laffy taffy and popcorn out of a holiday popcorn tin, and oohed and aaahed over his cute nephews. I love no fuss fun and no fuss days of nothing but no fuss and lazy laze around a-thons.

I’m pretty happy, pretty ready to get back into my own apartment mode without the roommate there for a week, ready to prepare for a new semester–although I am very broke. I am also pretty convinced that I have cervical cancer.
