my car cd player has died, almost.  it will only play one cd and that is “sound go round” by dressy bessy.

i got an earlyearly birthday gift from my dad while i was home.  he bought me an mp3 player from his store.  i really wasn’t expecting that.  i stopped by to look at prices and when i came home later it was waiting for me.  my parents never used to do things like this.  my dad is getting soft in his old age. 

thursday was fun times with maurine.  my favorite moments included boy george, middle aged men talking about how ethan hawke cheated on uma thurman and who in the right mind cheats on uma thurman, and a man dressed in dirty 80s rocker clothes (tight pants and all) riding a pastel green and pink 12 year old girl’s bike.

by the way:  it’s really weird when you walk out into the living room to see what your boyfriend is doing to discover that he is cleaning while the radio is playing “i wanna dance with somebody” by whitney houston.  anything involving whitney houston is pretty funny, i guess.
